Kids will play the Budget game which simulates how adults pay bills and handle money in the real world.
The purpose of this interactive and team-based lesson is to teach students, ages 7-14 about the importance of budgeting their money and understanding fundamental and life long lessons on financial management.
Children will have a career with a set income and experience various life decisions based on their financial situation and expenses. Based on their game play they will have to decide: Should they buy a new or used car?, Is it better to have a mortgage or to rent?, How will they manage credit and debt?, and many other financial decisions parents/guardians face daily.
